If you are getting :

To resolve this error follow the steps below :
Go to Outlook Express –>> Tools–>>Account.
Select the “email address” and then go to “Sever tab”
Then select the option :
“My Server Requires Authentication” and then Click on “Settings”and under the “Logon Information” tab select:
“Use same settings as my incoming mail server”
That’s all your error will be fixed now.
Try for the outgoing serve the port 587 instead of port 25.
That worked for me on several occasions, on different e-mail accounts.
