Sometimes you may experience the following error while trying to set up applications through Fantastico in main public_html folder.
This is due to a file known as “installed_in_root.php” in the .fantasticodata folder in the root of your account.Follow the steps below to fix the error.
- Login into the cPanel.
- Go to the File Manager.
- Click on the .fantasticodata folder on the left menu tree.
- Right click on the “installed_in_root.php” file and edit it.
After opening the file find the entry $installed_in_root[“domain.com”] = 1;
Remove the line and Click “Save Changes”
Now, you can install the software again using Fantastico.
