couple of weeks back, I had experienced this error while linking to Webmin just after finishing the set up. I had explored a lot last but not least discovered one solution for this. Here I\u2019m discussing this details for those who are experiencing this SSL issue with Webmin.<\/p>\n

Webmin is one of the most commonly using Web Hosting management sections. This is an free panel which works on port 10000. Miniserv is the name of the web server program which manages the Webmin Web program. By default, Miniserv uses SSL for HTTP connections. This standard setting cause some warnings on the web browser while accessing Webmin panel.<\/p>\n

[wpfmb type=’error’ theme=2]Error – Bad Request This web server is running in SSL mode[\/wpfmb]<\/p>\n

To resolve this error:<\/p>\n

Login to your Webmin control panel and turn off the SSL, it will solve the SSL issue.<\/p>\n

Step 1 :<\/strong> Login to Webmin control panel with SSL (https<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

Click this URL for port details \u201cWebmin ports\u201d<\/p>\n
Step 2 :<\/strong> Click on SSL Encryption under Webmin Configuration.<\/p>\n
Step 3 :<\/strong> Select the \u201cNO\u201d option and save for \u201cEnable SSL if available?\u201d<\/p>\n
That\u2019s it.<\/strong> Now try to login to your Webmin control panel normally. It will works fine now.<\/p>\n
