IPTraf<\/strong> is a simple tool to monitor Inbound<\/strong> and Outbound<\/strong> network traffic passing through interface.<\/p>\n

In this article we will guide you \u00a0you on how to install IPTraf<\/strong> monitoring tool using YUM<\/strong> command.<\/p>\n

yum install iptraf<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
Under Ubuntu<\/strong>, iptraf can be installed using Ubuntu Software Center<\/strong> or\u00a0use the \u2018apt-get<\/strong>\u2018 command to install it<\/p>\n
\n
sudo apt-get install iptraf<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
Once IPTraf<\/strong> installed, run the following command from the terminal to launch an interface that will allow us to view current IP traffic monitoring, General interface statistics, Detailed interface statistics, Statistical breakdowns, Filters and also provide some configure options that we can use\u00a0as per our requirements.<\/p>\n
