While trying to access phpmyadmin on WHM if you get following error:<\/p>\n

[wpfmb type=’error’ theme=2]Existing configuration file (.\/config.inc.php) is not readable.[\/wpfmb]<\/p>\n

Do the following steps to resolve:<\/p>\n

Login to the server as root.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Go to the directory \/usr\/local\/cpanel\/base\/3rdparty\/phpMyAdmin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

cd \/usr\/local\/cpanel\/base\/3rdparty\/phpMyAdmin<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
Check the ownership of the file config.inc.php<\/span><\/strong>. Check if the ownership of the file is assigned to root:cpanelphpmyadmin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
If the ownership is not correc set it to root:cpanelphpmyadmin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
<\/div>\n
chown root:cpanelphpmyadmin config.inc.php<\/pre>\n
<\/div>\n
Just restart the cpanel<\/strong> and mysql <\/strong>service on the server.<\/p>\n

\/scripts\/restartsrv cpanel\r\n\r\n\/scripts\/restartsrv mysql<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
