While accessing FTP with SFTP,we get the following error:<\/p>\n

[wpfmb type=’error’ theme=2]No supported authentication methods available.[\/wpfmb]<\/p>\n

If try to work with normal FTP and it might work fine but SFTP will not.<\/p>\n

For this just check the file \/var\/log\/secure<\/strong> on the server,We\u00a0find error message as:<\/p>\n

[wpfmb type=’error’ theme=2]Received disconnect from XX.XX.XX.XX: 14: No supported authentication methods available[\/wpfmb]<\/div>\n

The problem is faced due to PasswordAuthentication<\/strong> setting in \/etc\/ssh\/sshd_config<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If the setting Password Authentication is disabled in the SSH configuration file SFTP will not function. For this you can set PasswordAuthentication<\/strong> to on<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Once you edit the file save and restart the sshd service using the command:<\/p>\n

\/etc\/init.d\/sshd restart<\/pre>\n<\/div>\n
