Sometimes you may experience the following error while trying to set up applications through Fantastico in main public_html folder.<\/p>\n

[wpfmb type=’error’ theme=2]\u201cYou cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain\u201d [\/wpfmb]<\/p>\n

This is due to a file known as \u201cinstalled_in_root.php\u201d in the .fantasticodata<\/strong> folder in the root of your account.Follow the steps below to fix the error.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Login into the cPanel<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Go to the File Manager.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on the .fantasticodata folder on the left menu tree.<\/li>\n
  4. Right click on the \u201cinstalled_in_root.php<\/strong>\u201d file and\u00a0edit\u00a0<\/strong>it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    After opening the file find the entry\u00a0$installed_in_root[\u201cdomain.com\u201d] = 1;<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Remove the line and Click \u201cSave Changes<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

    Now, you can install the software again using Fantastico.<\/p>\n
