Fantastico Error “You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain”

Sometimes you may experience the following error while trying to set up applications through Fantastico in main public_html folder.

This is due to a file known as “installed_in_root.php” in the .fantasticodata folder in the root of your account.Follow the steps below to fix the error.

1. Login into the cPanel.
2. Go to the File Manager.
3. Click on the .fantasticodata folder on the left menu tree.
4. Right click on the “installed_in_root.php” file and edit it.

After opening the file find the entry $installed_in_root[“domain.com”] = 1;

Remove the line and Click “Save Changes”

Now, you can install the software again using Fantastico.
